Senior Project Manager

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a Logistics and Supply Chain Company in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of implementation/project management experience and have obtained, or working towards, a PMP certification. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans for new and existing customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of products and services.
– Drive corporate initiatives and work alongside the leadership team and project managers. Help establish and engage with the PM process throughout the organization.
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, engineering, and customer support, to ensure efficient and effective implementation of projects.
– Identify, track, and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely communication and escalation of issues as necessary.
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers, providing regular updates on project progress and ensuring customer satisfaction.
– Manage project scope, budget, and timelines, adjusting as needed to meet project objectives and customer requirements.
– Continuously review and optimize processes and tools to improve project management capabilities and ensure best practices are applied throughout the organization.
– Develop and deliver project-related training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
– Provide post-implementation support to customers, ensuring their ongoing success with products and services.
– Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and share knowledge across the organization.
– Manage a team of implementation associates and team workload for effectiveness and efficiency.
Senior Project Manager Requirements:
– 3+ years Implementation/Project Manager experience
– PMP certified or working towards certification
– Strong knowledge of project management software tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
– Ability to travel <10% of the time
– Self-Starter who can get things done while asking for help when needed
– Manage multiple priorities and balancing competing initiatives
– Strong Communication & interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across the organization
– Client & Team Coordination
– Data Analysis & Manipulation
– Advanced MS Excel
– Familiarity with Salesforce
