Senior Tax Accountant Position Summary:
– Prepare client tax returns
– Assist clients in solving complex tax issues
– Perform tax research
– Review client tax information, meeting and corresponding with client as necessary
– Identify and resolve client tax concerns
– Make recommendations to clients regarding tax issues
– Maintain relationships with existing clients while attracting new business
– Supervise staff members assisting with tax return preparation
– Keep current on all accounting updates
Senior Tax Accountant Qualifications Summary:
– Bachelor’s Degree required
– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License preferred
– Minimum two years relevant experience in public accounting
– Knowledge of QuickBooks required
– Desire to work in a collaborative environment
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work
– Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and take ownership of projects to see them through to completion
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
