Position Title: Auditor
Industry: CPA Firm
Location: Frederick, Maryland or Cockeysville, Maryland
Auditor Position Summary:
– Be able to assist Senior Accountants with audits, including planning and budgeting
– Supervise, train and review work of Staff Accountants
– Prepare client financial statements
– Obtain understanding of client’s business, systems and procedures, recognizing control weaknesses and recommending proper disposition
– Research GAAP and financial accounting matters
– Work on larger engagements and assist in compiling information into final reports
– Be able to keep information confidential
Auditor Qualifications Summary:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
– CPA or candidate preferred
– 3-7 years of experience in public accounting auditing and review, to include supervising Staff Accountants
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
– Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills
– Ability and willingness to travel locally
Approximately 60,000 – 85,000/annually, depending on experience.
