Position Title: Paralegal

Hours: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Paralegal Position Summary:
– Obtain medical records and write medical summaries
– Analyze and investigate workers compensation claims
– Subpoena medical records
– Interact with clients, respond to client inquires, keep client updated on progress of case
– Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with firm policies
– Assist in drafting legal documents including, but not limited to, pleadings, motions, and correspondence to opposing counsel and to the court
– Assist attorneys in preparation for meetings, hearings, depositions and trials
– Prepare witness and matter materials for trial preparation
Paralegal Qualifications Summary:
– Paralegal Degree
– 2+ years of workers compensation paralegal experience
– Organized and excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and with a team
– Good written and oral communication skills
– Tech savvy and proficient with MS Office Suite
Approximately $35,000-$38,000/annually, depending on experience.
